Book of Delaney VIII: Prologue
Will penned a statement
from Carolina's perspective.
She explained to him,
"A fearmonger robbed my home
but my panther chased him out.
A great forest fire
blocked off the yellow brick road,
trapping me inside."
Grover confessed, "My hope was
to stop my estranged brother."
Delaney said, "So
you're the fearmonger's brother?
I am so sorry."
Caroline made them dinner
and they left in the morning.
In the silent night,
a wise and hooded elder
worked at the crash site.
She returned the repaired car
to Caroline's green temple.
