Book of Don X

Citizens and clouds
gathered in Scarborough Square,
cold ground divided.
Ty's struggle with the Burgess
went from trading words to blades.

"Drop your sword, princess
and return to your duties,"
the knight captain said.
Ty replied, "I am no princess,
not to the crown you follow!"

They drew attention
away from the innocent
servants escaping.
Local channels stole away
through the crowds, toward the truth.

Knights surrounded Ty,
each blade ready to cut down
the former princess.
The captain said, "Give it up.
Destiny is against you."

Ty fell to their knees
with a blade held to their throat
in the captain's hands.
Suddenly, a seagull dropped
chips all over the captain.

Parsley grabbed the hand
of the confused knight captain,
securing the hilt.
Sage swept the legs of each knight.
Mary and Don stood speechless.

The knight captain flipped,
swiftly disarmed by Parsley
and covered in chips.
The captain's entire guard
lay, staring up at the sky.

By the time they rose,
the Scarborough streets were bare,
quiet, and vacant.
Parsley, Sage, Mary, and Ty
ran with Don back to Aunt Rose.
