Book of Epilogues III
Don's powwow flourished
as people from Scarborough
and the Nelfin elves
traded stories in the rain.
Their voices became beacons.
Parsley helped Ty push
the DeLorean forward
under iridescent rain.
Mary and Sage went ahead
to make sure the path was safe.
Rose parted the crowd
when she saw Mary and Sage.
"Oh thank the heavens!
Are Parsley and Ty with you?"
Mary hugged her saying, "Yes."
Parsley and Ty pushed,
rolling the DeLorean
near all the news vans.
Sage diagnosed the engine,
"I can handle the repair."
"I'll collect water
while it's falling from...somewhere."
Parsley searched for Don.
Mary found the drummer first.
Their embrace intertwined them.
Mary said, "You're here,
but where are we exactly?"
Don reached for her hand,
"It's an amazing story!"
Rose said, "Please enlighten us."
Ty supervised Sage,
"Your mother built this engine?"
Sage answered them, "Yes,
hydro tanks were my idea
after I learned of her crash."
Ty asked, "Was it bad?"
Sage answered, "My Dad told us
our mother was framed
for starting a forest fire."
Her repair was successful.
