Book of Time II

When the plane touched down,
Delaney felt Will's hand
reach out and squeeze hers.
"We've just landed in Darlington..."
the pilot debriefed the plane.

Will's relief rippled,
louder than the murmurings
of the passengers.
"Let's never do that again,"
he said as Delaney laughed.

"My brave shining knight,"
she said while kissing his hand,
"solid ground awaits."
They claimed their bags at gate eight,
and searched for Parsley and Sage.

Delaney said, "There!"
Parsley waved a sign around
that read: Justin Time.
Sage said, "I tried to stop him."
Will embraced the two of them.

Parsley asked, "What gives?"
Delaney said, "Your father
faced his greatest fear."
Sage said, "I'm proud of you Dad."
Will asked, "Is that a restroom?"

He parted the crowd,
rushing to a vacant stall.
Delaney sighed, "Oh..."
William lost his stomach,
silencing the airport buzz.

Parsley said, "He hurled."
Sage replied, "Can you blame him?"
People approached Will,
knowing his face from the news.
Warm greetings shrouded his ailments.

"Let's rescue your Dad,"
Delaney said, "here's the plan..."
Parsley made his way
through the crowd saying, "Make way!
Nothing to see here people!"
