Book of Delaney VII

Yellow bricks gave way
to a green monastery.
Grover said to them,
"My brother and I built this
temple for Carolina."

Delaney knocked first—
the panther scratched at the door
when someone answered.
Their voice came from a steel box,
"Leave my panther there and go."

Will spoke through the box,
"I need to hear your story.
You own these lands, right?"
Delaney asked, "Do you know
how to repair vehicles?"

Then Carolina
let her panther in, tossing
keys at Delaney.
Carolina said to her,
"My DeLorean is yours."
