Book of Don IV

In that foggy plain,
Sage put the car into park
saying to Parsley,
"What did you set the year to?"
Parsley answered in a daze,

"1623?"
Mary asked, "Did you read the
itinerary?
When Sage tried starting the car
it sputtered without a spark.

Sage said to Parsley,
"A four hundred year jump sapped
all our hydro fuel!"
Parsley answered, "The numbers
with the commas confused me."

Mary said to him,
"You mean the coordinates?
Let me look at them."
Parsley muttered, "Well, you see...
I left the paper at home."

Sage pulled on his shirt,
"This is not Scarborough Fair,
we cannot wing this!"
Don heard a distant drumming,
leaving the car mid-quarrel.

When Mary realized
Don sought more than just fresh air
she said to the twins,
"Put your bickering aside.
and let's scout beyond the fog."

Sage saw two shadows
dancing in the foggy field
and she called out, "Don!"
Parsley, Sage, and Mary left
the DeLorean EV.

Rhythm like thunder
led the three of them to find
their curious friend.
Don danced happily beside
a maiden with her hand drum.
