Book of Don IX

A tense tea party
hosted in the house of Rose
brought questions to light.
While Mary served everyone
she asked Rose, "Where is Ty now?"

Rose answered, "In town.
They are helping the people
who have been displaced
by the Burgess division."
Sage thanked Mary for the tea.

Parsley searched the fridge,
finding a veggie burger
to complete his meal.
Don laughed, "Parsley, your stomach
has no boundaries at all!"

Mary said to Rose,
"I am surprised the Burgess
are still a problem."
Sage set her cup down and said,
"Peace will bother the corrupt."

Rose raised the volume
of the kitchen radio.
A journalist spoke,
"Strange graffiti marks were left
all over Scarborough Fair."

Mary asked, "Strange marks?
What are they talking about?"
Rose found a canvas
and drew the Burgess class seal.
Parsley said, "I know that mark!"

He spoke between bites,
Don passed him his cup of tea.
"That tough forest knight
bore the mark in its armor.
Even though it was hollow."

Rose asked him, "What knight?"
Sage said, "But that was the past.
Is it the same mark?"
The journalist continued,
"Riots overtake the town..."
