Book of Epilogues IV
Crashing through the void,
overlapping waves echoed
from Scarborough shores.
One Nelfin knight spoke with Don,
"Take your friends over this bridge.
You all arrived together,
with your united desire
you will find your home."
Don asked, "Where do I belong?"
But the knight had no answer.
Mary held Don's hand,
"We'll find out where your home is."
Then Don understood.
"It's not where," he said, "but when."
Sage discovered a problem.
The DeLorean
no longer had its compass.
"I can't set the time,
there's no way to get back home!"
Ty worried for the people.
"It's quiet now," they said,
"that could change in a moment."
Parsley replied, "Ty is right.
More hollow knights could arrive."
Rose assured the crowd.
"Listen to the sea,
home is closer than you think.
Nobody wander!"
Mary brought news to her aunt,
"The elves will help us get home."
So, Don left the elves.
With difficulty he said,
"May we meet again."
The elves, in their native tongue,
spoke words befitting true friends.
Bright ether vanished,
dawn's fog light clearing a way
back home from that realm.
The DeLorean crossed time
carrying five passengers.
